At times i feel tt i m surrounded wit friends & at times i feel tt dey r only passer-by. I duno. It feel so near yet so far. hmmm. Tis kinda r/s is gona b hard to maintain.
Certain friends jus stay wit u for many many yrs & no matter wad dey would still b in contact wit u. And I thank God i have a handful o such friends. Needless to say, I do have those hi-bye friends ard. I see them wen i see them & some may even forget how i look like & vice-versa. Dun laff. It's common - especially u do have a wide network o friends.
Okay, tis may appear to b another random entry but I gona relate my own experience abt such characters : passer-by in ur life.
Wen i was much younger, say 19yrs old, I gotta know a grp o 'friends' tt go clubbing wit me every other weekends. We club hopped & drink till we got high. We danced & shaked till we dropped. Sounds happenin? U bet. hahahahahaha. Tis grp o fren stayed wit me for abt a yr & we got 'disbanded' due to our own committments & differences. Some settled down wit their newly built family, some started their careers & some went away fr e grp cos dey found tt our way o 'enjoyin life' were too hard to maintain. I duno.
It had been like ......5yrs ? 4yrs? since we last contacted. Apparently tis particular 'friend' o mine PMed me on FaceBook, askin for my contact num so tt we could have some catch-up session wit each other. By chance, i found out it was a 'scam'. hahahaha. Wrong word used BUT it was only a cover-up ! I was told tt e reason for them to contact me back was bcos dey wana me to do them some favours ? hahahahaha. Gud try, nice try. U got e wrong one, dearies. I aint tt dumb thou.
Like seriously, if dey have been in contact wit me, i dun mind them doin a sales presentation BUT DEY HAD STOPPED CONTACTIN ME FOR SO LONG !!!! And now tt dey wana promote their products, dey go ard findin 'old friends' whom had somehow disappeared in their life. WTF ???? I mean, wen i started helpin my fren to sell car, i DUN EVEN TOT O FINDIN THESE SO-CALLED FRIENDS !! Okay, I know i m over-reactin but still....how insincere these pple can b !!!!
